UPDATE TO THE USE OF CITY PROPERTY BY-LAW
The motion, as the minutes record it: Moved by: Deputy Mayor, R. Thomson Seconded by: Councillor, C. Nixon 1. That under the current State of Emergency, staff have the authority to bring forward updates to existing by -laws to ensure that they reflect current processes and practices related to encampment response and are presenting Bill 110 an update to the Use of City Property By-law for consideration by Council. 2. That staff in the Legislative and Court Services Department (Enforcement Services) be authorized to make application to the Ministry of the Attorney General for set fines related to the Use of City Property By -law, with fine amounts ranging from $100.00 to $1000.00 based on the nature of the offence.
